Bahan:
1 1/2 liter kaldu ayam
15 potong lengkuas, irisan tipis
5 lembar daun jeruk purut
3 batang sere, memarkan
3 sendok makan kecap ikan
6 sendok makan air jeruk nipis
500 gram udang, kupas, sisakan ekornya
15 buah jamur merang, belah jadi 2
15 buah cabai rawit, memarkan
1 sendok makan daun ketumbar, cincang kasar
Nam prik pao:
5 siung bawang putih
7 siung bawang merah
8 buah cabai merah
1 sendok teh terasi matang
1/2 sendok teh garam
1 sendok teh gula pasir
2 sendok makan air asam

Cara Memasak: [Cooking Instruction]

Nam prik pao: sangrai bawang putih, bawang merah, dan cabai merah hingga agak gosong, lalu kupas.

Haluskan bahan tadi bersama dengan terasi, garam, gula, lalu tumis hingga harum.

Tambahkan air asam, aduk rata, masak hingga mendidih dan kental, sisihkan.

Panaskan kaldu ayam, masak hingga mendidih, lalu masukkan lengkuas, daun jeruk purut, sere, kecap ikan, air jeruk nipis, jamur merang, cabai rawit, dan nam prik pao, aduk rata, masak selama 15 menit.

Masukkan udang dan daun ketumbar, masak hingga matang, angkat.
